Perfect For Using Up Seasonal Scraps!

Piece a spooky spider web for display on your table or wall for Halloween. This is a fun and different take on quilts for the season and will delight all who see it.

Start with scraps, charm squares or mini charm squares from your stash. Add black or deep gray for the web and have fun putting the quilt together.

Spider Web Quilt

30″ quilt.

The designer used the Quick Curve Ruler to cut the arcs. However, a plate will work too. While there is a bit of curved piecing, they are gentle curves and simple to complete (learn more about sewing curves here).

Spider Web Quilt

34″ quilt.

Instructions are provided for two sizes, about 30″ across and 34″ across (point to point). The tutorials, from Life in the Scrapatch, are presented as two quiltalongs.

You’ll find links to the tutorials for both quiltalongs at the following link. The first (2013) is for the smaller 30″ quilt and second (2014) is for the larger version.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
