This Will be Charming in Many Color Combinations!

A pretty appliqued vase of flowers is framed with simple piecing for a charming little quilt. Display it every spring or leave it out to enjoy all year long.

Select colors that work with your decor, for a particular season, or that you simply love. You may be able to find everything you need already in your stash.

We love the version above made by Ann Hibbs. Her color choices are simply stunning.

The quilt designer went in an entirely different direction with color, producing a quilt that is just as lovely in autumn colors.

The “Vase of Flowers” quilt pattern, from designer Lori Smith, is for a mini quilt that is 12 1/2″ square.

It’s included in the May/June 2012 issue of Love of Quilting.

The quilt stand is a beautiful way to display small quilts, and will be fun to switch out with quilts for each season. It’s available here.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
