This is a Super Easy Quilt to Make!

One simple patch – a rectangle – is used to create this fun quilt. The patches are arranged into blocks with the background running through them. Once combined, the overall pattern emerges.

This quilt is a breeze to make. Beginning quilters will appreciate that there’s just one fabric shape to cut and no bias edges to deal with. Experienced quilters will enjoy how quickly it goes together.

Raindrops Quilt Pattern

Pretty polka dot fabrics lend a lighthearted air to the quilt. It will be lovely in just about any color combination. Just select fabrics that are similar in value to stand out against the light background.

The finished quilt, from designer Lyn Brown, is 50″ x 70″. Straight line or free motion quilting will finish it off nicely.

The “Raindrops” quilt pattern is included in Fun & Easy Scrappy Quilts, along with several other wonderful quilt projects.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
