Intricate stars shimmer across the surface of this pretty quilt. While it looks complex, half-square triangles in varying sizes make up the wonderful design.
The quilt is lovely made up in softly colored fabrics with a vintage vibe. However, stronger colors will be just as beautiful.
Choose 15-20 coordinated fat quarters for interest and variety. Tie them all together with a beautiful border fabric.
This version, by Lindsey’s aunt, has sashing between blocks.
The finished quilt, designed by Lindsey Weight from Primrose Cottage Quilts, is 64″ x 64″.
One of the blocks, which measures 17″ square, will make a lovely little quilt for your wall or table. The following examples, made by Lindsey Weight as part of a sew-along, shows how beautiful the block is in Christmas colors.
