Fewer Blocks Will Make a Wonderful Table Topper, As Well!

Comfort someone touched by war, honor a warrior or simply declare your love for our great country with this stunning quilt. Whether you give it away or display it in your home, those who see it will be warmed by its patriotic design.

The creative stars and stripes in this quilt are fairly easy to stitch together, even for beginning quilters with solid basic skills. Simple straight line machine quilting is all that’s needed to finish it off.

"In Honor Of" Quilt Pattern

We can easily imagine rearranging the blocks for smaller quilts. For example, one star block with four stripe blocks would make a lovely table topper. Or, alternate star and stripe blocks in a row, with triangle background pieces along the outside edges, for a table runner.

The finished quilt, by designer Diane Tomlinson, measures 64″ x 77″ once completed.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
