Replicate This Quilt from Your Stash

Customize the Block Size to Fit Your Vision for This Quilt!
We instantly fell in love with this gorgeous quilt made of scrappy Log Cabin Hearts. It took a good amount of hunting but we finally found a pattern you can customize to make your own.
The quilt was originally found in a fabric store but no pattern information was included in the article. Read about the quilt on Dish Sisters.
However, a block pattern by Klepikjan from Ma Galina will work just fine to replicate this quilt – that and your scrap bag!
Instructions for four block sizes are included in the pattern:
- 6″ x 6″
- 8″ x 8″
- 10″ x 10″
- 12″ x 12″
Make blocks of the size you prefer and stitch them together with sashing. Make the sashing the same width as the “logs” and use the same fabric as the background used for the hearts.
Select scraps for the blocks, or coordinate the colors for an equally charming quilt.
If you use scraps, when you are done you’ll have a quilt similar to the beauty in the picture above.
Love this block, my daughter’s married name is Valentine, I’d love to make her a quilt from this pattern
Have tons of scraps snd would be fun to do this one!
Love this can not wait to make it
Love this pattern.
I bought a pattern from you and never received it!
Carolyn, we do not sell patterns directly. You’ll need to go to the vendor who provides the pattern for help. If you don’t recall who that is, find the project on our website and click the link toward the bottom of the article in the yellow box. That will take you to the vendor. Look around on their site until you find contact information for Support (or Help). If you purchased something, you should also have a confirmation email from them which should contain contact info. We work with reputable vendors so they’ll have this fixed for you quickly!
Does anyone know if the sashing it the ending of the outside of the quilts or do you use one long white strip as a border which would also be a sashing to end the edges of the quilt.
Love this quilt!
