Have you ever gotten hung up on determining the size of triangles to cut in order to set a block on point? While setting a block on point is a great way to enlarge blocks (and to give a creative twist to a traditional design) it can be a challenge to determine how large to cut the corner triangles.

Fortunately, there’s a simple way that can be done without math. The trick is to use rulers and a little bit of measuring.

Laura from Sew Very Easy shows you how in the following video. Her method can be used with blocks of any size.
