Sew Sparkling Placeholders for a Festive Table

The Stars Have Many Other Uses Too!
Pretty sparkling stars make lovely placeholders for a festive holiday table. The stars can also be placed in the top of stockings, hung from the tree, and used to decorate gifts (with or without the name cards).
We love the gold theme chosen by the designer. The gold sprinkled prints, gold-accented twine, topstitching with gold thread, and the gold gel pen used for the cards create a pretty presentation.
However, any color combination will be just as wonderful. Go with whatever appeals to you most.
The stars are simple to make. You can have several done in an afternoon.
Once completed, the stars designed by Anna Alicia for Gathered are about 6 1/4″ from point to point. You can easily adjust the size of the stars when printing the star pattern.
