The quilt is an easy one to construct. Simply arrange patchwork squares and star blocks in an eye-catching pattern. Keep the background squares fairly close in value so the stars pop.
While an exact pattern is not available, it’s easy to create your own version of this quilt from the instructions provided by Leslie at Leslie Unfinished. The quilt is built on a grid of 5 1/2″ squares.
The size of the finished quilt appears to be about 40″ x 60″. This is an easy one to enlarge. Simply add more blocks, continuing the overall design, until you have the size you want.
The star blocks are super easy to make as you don’t need to worry about losing the points. You’re sure to find many projects to use this wonderful block in.
