Strong Contrast Creates a Stunning Quilt

Red and White Will be Wonderful Too!

Navy and white are simply stunning in this eye-catching quilt. While the blocks are simple, this is one beautiful example of how the sum can equal more than the individual parts.

Strong contrasts and a two-color theme are the keys to this quilt’s beauty. It’s easy to imagine it in red and white, too, as well as other two-color combinations.

Snowbound Quilt Pattern

The beautiful border of squares on point is the perfect finish. A small white print for the background adds interest and a touch of coziness to a quilt that otherwise could have seemed too stark. Despite its strong graphical nature, this is a quilt anyone will love to curl up with.

The instructions for the classic blocks have been simplified to ease construction.

Designed by Linda Pumphrey, the finished quilt is 70″ x 82 1/2″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
