Pretty Take-Along Storage for Your Current Project!

Do you or someone you know love knitting or crochet? This wonderful tote is perfect for taking projects along with you. The tote comes in two versions, one for crochet and one for knitting.

Both totes have multiple pockets around the outside for needles, hooks and other tools. Plus, they’ll hold a generous amount of yarn and your current project. The drawstring cover and handle are optional.

Not only are these totes easy to make, they’ll be wonderful in many fabrics and color combinations. They make wonderful gifts, too, so you may want to make more than one while you’re at it.

Either tote can be easily altered for quilt projects and supplies too. Simply change the pocket widths as needed to fit your tools.

The pattern, from Sew Sweet, contains instructions for the following:

  • The knitters tote is 15″ tall (not including handle) x 9 1/2″ wide.
  • The crochet tote is 7 1/2″ (not including handles) x 9 1/2″ wide.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
