Choose Between Two Sizes!
These charming baskets are sturdy enough to hold all kinds of supplies in any room of the house. They’re fully lined and can be made with or without the handles.
Plus, they’ll be wonderful in any color palette. Start with a pleasing combination of scraps and choose pretty contrasts for the handles and lining.
A fusible heavyweight interfacing provides structure, or use fusible fleece for softer baskets.
They’re also easy to make and go together quickly. They’ll be wonderful gifts any time of the year.
The finished baskets, designed by Chris Malone, are:
- Rectangular Basket – 11″ x 6″ x 5″
- Square Basket – 6″ x 6″ x 4″
You’ll find the “Patchwork Baskets” pattern in More Weekend Sewing.
