This Complex Looking Quilt is So Easy to Make

It Will be Lovely in Your Favorite Colors, Too!
This complex-looking quilt is surprisingly easy to make, and is so beautiful in red and cream. Of course, it will be wonderful in another predominant color, or even multiple colors against a compatible background.
The secret to its easy construction is striped fabric. Triangles of it are combined with Flying Geese blocks for an intriguing design. You can speed construction further by making 4 Flying Geese units at a time using these instructions.
Bring out this quilt for Christmas or display it all year long. It’s sure to add a festive touch to your decor whenever you choose to use it.
The finished quilt is 44 1⁄2″ × 56 1⁄2″, perfect for a lap quilt. Add more blocks for a larger quilt or delete a row for a square table topper.
Avis Shirer of Joined At the Hip designed the quilt for American Patchwork & Quilting.
