Are you looking for a quick project? This charming quilt sews together quickly, is easy enough for beginners, and looks great in any color theme.

The quilt was designed by Fat Quarter Shop to use their exclusive Jolly Bars. These are 5″ x 10″ precuts (you’ll find a selection here), but other cuts work too.

For example, you can use 10″ layer cake squares or cut pieces from your stash. Choose a wide variety of prints to add interest to the quilt and select a contrasting background.

The free pattern provides instructions for two quilt sizes:

Small Lap – 34.5″ x 46.5″
Large Lap – 49.5″ x 68.5″
