It’s Also a Great Gift for Crafty Friends, New Moms and More!
This generously sized basket is great for carrying quilting tools, supplies and projects. It stands open so everything is within reach when on the go. That makes it perfect for classes and retreats, as everything will stay handy and organized next to your sewing space.
It’s also great for those who knit, crochet and do other hand crafts, as well as for baby supplies, kids’ toys, picnics and more. It can even fit between the seats in the car for easy access while on the road.
The bottom of the bag is strengthened with a flat painter’s canvas, ensuring that it will stay firm. There is also a large outside pocket and an inside divided pocket for smaller items.
Choose fabrics you love and enjoy putting this basket together. You might even consider using a small orphan quilt block for the outside pocket.
The finished basket, designed by Brenda from Brenda’s Quilting Nook, is 16″ wide, 10″ deep and 8″ high.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
