Make It Up In Colors For Any Season!
Freshen up your table for warm weather with this charming table runner. Start with 5″ squares and a background fabric, in this case, white, for this lovely creation.
Softly colored floral prints make us think of summer flower gardens. Stronger colors will be great too for a more striking design. Notice how the prints are of similar value for consistent contrast against the background.
While white sets these prints off beautifully, the background can be any color you want. It’s easy to imagine this in rich autumn colors against black, somewhat stronger prints against aqua, and many other color themes.
The finished runner, designed by Carol Streif, is 30″ x 15″.
