Value Gradations Create a Lovely Runner

Floral Prints and Green Accents Remind Us of a Flower Garden!

Three coordinating colors in light, medium, and dark values create a beautiful runner that will be lovely on any table. Gradations of green along with white accents set off the three focus colors beautifully.

If you look closely you’ll notice that the designer chose the same prints in three different colorways. While that creates a beautifully coordinated look the runner will also be great in a wider selection of print styles.

You could even make each band a different color for a more scrappy look – or mix and match colors within each band. Just be sure to keep the value gradations.

Once you’ve chosen your fabrics you’ll love easy this is to make. It stitches together quickly too.

The completed runner, designed by Lisa Ruble from Quilty Zest, is 53″ x 17″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
