Play With Colors and Fabrics to Give this Quilt Different Personalities!

This stunning quilt is so easy to make, even for beginning quilters. Experienced quilters will appreciate how quickly is goes together. It’s perfect for charity quilts and quick gifts.

Layer cakes squares (10″ x 10″) and jelly roll strips are used in making this quilt, although you can also use yardage if you want. Construction is simplified by making 8 half-square triangles at a time.

Select beautiful fabrics to showcase against the white background. You might also consider making the background a solid color. It’s easy to imagine how this quilt’s personality will change as the colors and fabric styles do. Whether you go pastel or bold, it will be a striking quilt once you’re done.

The pattern, by Lauren Terry of Brights on White, produces a finished quilt of 50″ x 60. Add more blocks and rows to make a larger quilt.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
