Make One or a Set of Pot Holders in Your Favorite Cat Colors!

This cute black cat will be a welcome addition to your pot holder collection for use during the autumn months. Or, create one in colors to match your cat for use all year long. A cat-loving friend will love receiving this darling kitty as a gift, too.

Once you’ve selected fabric in your preferred colors, add details with topstitching and pretty little buttons. A contrasting bow is a lovely finishing touch.

Scaredy-Cat Pot Holder Pattern

This is an easy project that even beginners can complete. The pot holder is turned, with the tail added as a separate piece. You can have this fun cat made up before you know it.

The pot holder is 7 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, excluding the bow and tail. Add a layer or two of Insul-Bright batting for heat-proofing.

The “Scaredy-Cat Pot Holder” pattern is included in Pot Holders for All Seasons by Chris Malone. Just about every pot holder in this collection is one we want to make!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
