Dig Into Your Scraps and Make it Your Own!
A creative arrangement yields a stunning design in this eye-catching quilt. It’s a great project for scraps and will be wonderful in any color theme.
The colors pop against black, but other background colors will work nicely, too. Just make sure there’s good contrast so the design stands out.
It’s easy to imagine this quilt in Christmas colors and also in spring pastels against white, aqua or another color. It will take on different personalities, depending on the colors, while being just as eye-catching.
We couldn’t help but play with Photoshop a bit to see what it would look like in another color palette. Go ahead and play with color to create your own version of this striking quilt.
The quilt is constructed with basic components, making the complex design far easier than it may seem.
Instructions are provided by the designer, Kristin from A Little Crispy, for three quilt sizes:
- Crib – 45″ x 45″
- Throw – 60″ x 60″
- Queen – 90″ x 90″
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
