It’s a Quick Project and a Wonderful Gift!
Treat a music lover to this charming little violin mug rug. It’s perfect for next to their favorite chair, desk or another spot where they tend to sit and sip.
You may already have most of what you need in your scrap basket. A fat eighth of a musical print for the background is more than enough to finish it up (a layer cake square is perfect).
Fusible applique makes this a quick finish. A bit of embroidery adds detail and brings the violin to life.
The finished mug rug, designed by K Lee 2strings, is 6″ x 9 1/2″.
