It’s also an easy quilt to make. Standard piecing is used throughout and simple straight-line machine quilting finishes it nicely.
The quilt can be hung on a wall, as shown here, or used as a crib quilt or play mat. Plus, it lends itself to just about any color combination.
Choose a wide variety of fabrics for the scrappy background, and stronger coordinating hues for the elephants and Hourglass blocks. Go soft and sweet or bold and bright for your own special rendition.
The finished quilt is 40″ x 49″.
