This beautiful quilt reminds us a bit of bargello. However, we love how a more random placement of colors and values creates a less structured overall design.

Start with a pack of 5″ wide strips, or cut your own from a wide variety of fabrics. The quilt is wonderful in any color theme.

It’s also an easy quilt to make and one that will go together quickly.

The pattern, from Highway 10 Designs, includes instructions for the following quilt sizes:

Small quilt without border – 45”x 56”
Small quilt with border – 52” x 63”
Large quilt without border – 63” x 81”
Large quilt with borders – 76” x 94”
