The Colors, Pattern and Quilting Are Gorgeous in This Quilt!

We recently discovered Cupcakes and Daisies, a blog by a marvelous quilter named Thelma. She is very prolific and chronicles every quilt she makes (now into her second 100!).

“Lifetime Quilt Number 24” caught our eye and introduced us to Thelma’s work. The design, colors and quilting are all extraordinary.

A Delectable Mountain border and a Feathered Star medallion combine to make this gorgeous quilt. Thelma named her quilt “My Feathered Star Quilt”. It’s a Queen, at 89″ x 95″.

The pattern for this quilt is “O My Stars Quilt” from the Leisure Arts Book, Stars in a Twinkling. The book is available at Amazon in both Kindle and Paperback versions (click here).

We encourage you to take a few minutes and look around Thelma’s website. She’s made many wonderful quilts that deserve to be admired and enjoyed. The article linked to below shows how she displays some of her many quilts.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
