A Charming Oven Mitt for Your Kitchen or Camper |
Make Double Ended Oven Mitts or Individual Pot Holders!
Whether you roam the countryside in a camper or just want to, this charming oven mitt will evoke thoughts of fun road trips. The darling camper block can be used in other projects, as well.
Create the long oven mitt with pockets on both ends or make the blocks into individual pot holders. We can also imagine this used as a table runner, or incorporate the cute camper block in larger quilts.
It’s a fun design the play with and will be wonderful in many color palettes. Fusible applique makes the block a breeze to complete while buttons and machine stitching are lovely accents.
The finished double oven mitt, designed by Chris Malone, is 28″ x 8″. The finished camper block is 8″ square.
You’ll find the pattern for “Home Is Where the Camper Is” in Quilter’s World Summer 2018.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
