Rich, warm hues in old fashioned prints give this traditional quilt its homespun personality. Select ten fat quarters plus a tan print for the background and you’ll be well on your way to creating a timeless classic.
The quilt will be wonderful in lighter and brighter prints as well. Modern fabrics will give it a totally different personality and an equally compelling one.
Experienced quilters will appreciate that the beautiful overall design comes from one block sewn up in multiple colors.
The block isn’t difficult, but it is a bit complex. Take your time and enjoy the process of making this wonderful quilt.
