Or create several for a set of placemats. Dig into your scraps for a pleasing combination of fabrics in whatever colors and fabric styles you prefer.
It’s easy to imagine them in seasonal colors. For example, red, white, and blue will be stunning for summer as will Christmas prints for the holidays and deep colors for fall.

You can also make a charming pillow cover or use the pillow top as a square table mat. This versatile pattern provides many options.
While you may be a bit wary of the curves, don’t worry. It’s a gentle curve to piece and careful pinning will produce great results.
