Creative Use of Color Makes a Striking Quilt

It Will be Wonderful in Many Other Color Combinations, Too!

Patchy blocks are pulled together into a striking design in this creative quilt. The sashing strips contain stars that add color and interest while tying the blocks together into a unified whole.

The subdued colors are lovely, as will be many other color combinations. It’s easy to picture the quilt made up for a favorite child in brights with a novelty print in the center of the stars. We can also see it in Christmas colors.

New Hampshire Nights Quilt

Imagine, too, how this lovely this will be as a full-on scrap quilt with the sashing and stars providing dominant colors.

The finished quilt, designed by Marianne Fons, is 66″ x 94″.
