Reduce the Size for Ornaments!
Add splashes of festive cheer to your table with these charming Christmas bells with sprigs of holly. They’re sized to be used as coasters and will be pretty at each place setting as well as elsewhere around the house.
They also make lovely hostess and thank you gifts. The pattern comes with tags to print and attach when giving.
You may already have fabric on hand that will be wonderful in this project. Play with colors and fabric styles until you have a pleasing combination.

Plus, they’re simple to make and can be finished quickly. You can have a batch made before you know it.
The designer, Lisa Cox from A Spoonful of Sugar, adjusted the size to turn the coasters into ornaments. Simply print the pattern at 65% to reduce the size and omit the batting. Learn more here.
The finished coasters are 5″ high x 5 1/4″ wide at the widest point.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
