Quilting Isn’t Just for Women!

While the vast majority of quilters are women, there are plenty of men who quilt. Kaffe Fassett and Ricky Tims are just two examples of the many talented men who have made their marks in the quilting world.

But what might happen if a guy felt like he had to hide his passion for quilting? It’s easy to imagine him feeling a bit out of place and unsure if he’ll be accepted for his interest in a traditionally “women’s” craft.

The following parody from Superior Threads is a funny depiction of four guys who love to quilt yet feel the need to hide their hobbies from their wives and families.

In the end, one is “caught” by his wife and learns that she’s not only OK with him quilting but encourages him to do so. Watch the fun along the way, including the cute scene after “The End.”
