Fabric Tulip Baskets Offer Many Creative Options |
We Bet You Can’t Make Just One!
You’re sure to find a multitude of uses for these charming baskets. They’ll be handy in the sewing room and elsewhere around the house. They’re also pretty for showcasing plants (add plastic liners) and can even be used as Easter baskets. They make wonderful gifts, too, filled with items the recipients will enjoy.
These creative fabric baskets offer many options for customization. The pattern includes two styles (or is it 3?) and instructions for two sizes.
Fold down the cuff, or not. Add pieced hexies, or not. Use the handle or not, or simply fold it down out of the way when not in use.
Select beautiful fabric and buttons to match (for the folded cuff and the handles). Decide on the finished size and have fun making your own creative version. These are easy to make and you’ll have one or more made up before you know it.
The finished baskets, from K Lee 2strings are:
- 6″ base for large size,
- 4″ base for small size
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
