Imagine How Lovely This Will be in Your Favorite Fabrics!
Woven strips of fabric form the body of this beautiful bag. The strips encase interfacing, giving the bag structure and body.
The bag is generously sized for those days when you need to carry a lot with you. While it’s called a beach bag, we’d use ours all year around and for many different purposes (perfect for quilt group days!).
The handles are tied on, and they’re long enough for carrying the bag over your shoulder.
Inside pockets help keep you organized. (You may also want to consider making a handy Purse Organizer for ease of switching the essentials from bag to bag.)
This beautiful bag will be lovely in your favorite colors and fabrics. Or, make one for the summer and a darker version for the winter. It will also be a welcomed gift.
The pattern, from Carol McLeod, produces a bag that is about 17″ x 14″ x 8″.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
