Use Some of Those Scraps in This Lovely Fall Quilt |
Or Choose Pre-Cuts for a Nice Variety!
Warm colors make a cozy throw that will keep you warm during chilly autumn weather. It’s also a beautiful quilt to add to your fall decor.
The maple leaves can be made from scraps or start with a variety of fat quarters or fat eighths. The burgundy strips and binding are beautiful contrasts and unifying elements against the beige background.
Construction of the quilt is fairly simply, making this a nice project for confident beginners and up. Distribute the leaf colors in a random fashion to add interest to the quilt.
The finished quilt, designed by Nancy Scott, is 66″ x 66″.
You’ll find the pattern for the “Maple Madness” quilt in Autumn Colors from Quilter’s World.
