Scrappy Patchwork Stockings for the Mantel
Make These Christmas Stockings in Your Favorite Colors!
It wouldn’t be Christmas without stockings hung on the mantel, or displayed elsewhere in the home.
These scrappy stockings offer lots of options for customizing them for each family member. Simply vary the colors and overall design to suit each person. You could even machine embroider their name on the cuff.
The pattern by A Little Crispy gives 5 patchwork options, but feel free to get creative and make your own designs from the blocks and instructions provided.
Once completed, they measure approximately 8.5″ x 14″, not including the hanging loop.
These stockings would look great in many different color schemes. The following stockings found on Simplify (made by Tasha at A Little Sweetness) were sewn up using a slightly different pattern. Even so, they give you some ideas of how you can vary the colors of the stockings made with our pattern (notice the darling pom pom trim – an easy add-on).
