Play with Colors, Values, and Fabric Styles to Make It Yours!
This intriguing block will be striking in a quilt. It’s sure to make a statement, whether used on its own or combined with other blocks.
Play with high-contrast solids for a crisp, graphic look or mix in vibrant scraps for a more traditional look. Either way, the strong geometric design will produce striking results.
Here are two quick mockups we made showing several blocks laid out for a quilt. The second one has sashing added between the blocks. It’s easy to imagine special fussy-cut motifs showcased in the center squares.
Designer Heather Valentine from The Sewing Loft provides instructions for two finished block sizes:
- 6” x 6”
- 12” x 12”
