Choose From Two Mini Quilt Designs!

If you love to bake, or know someone who does, you’ll enjoy these wonderful little quilts. Choose between the hand mixer and the stand mixer for a special treat of a mini quilt.

Choose colors that match your mixer (or one you dream of!), or colors that accent your kitchen decor. Either of these makes a wonderful gift, too, so treat a favorite baker with a made-by-you quilt featuring a favorite kitchen tool.

The patterns can also be made into larger quilts by stitching several mixers together. The stand mixer pattern is for a quilt that includes six mixer blocks and spatulas. Make a mini stand mixer quilt by quilting up and binding one block.

The patterns, designed by Lori Holt from Bee in My Bonnet, are made with simple piecing. Both are fairly quick projects, although the hand mixer requires a bit of embroidery.

Once completed, the “Hand Mixer” pattern produces a 14.5″ x 14.5″ mini quilt.

The completed “Mixing It Up” quilt is 64″ x 69″, although you can easily make a mini quilt from one mixer block.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
