This Beautiful Quilt Makes a Big Impression

A crayon box full of rainbow colors provides this eye-catching quilt’s background. Daisies are appliqued on top to create the striking design.
Solid fabrics are used throughout, although it’s fun to imagine how it would look with small-scale prints for the background. A more limited color combination in the background is also an intriguing idea.
Whatever fabrics you choose, the background goes together with straightforward piecing. It’s a bit like putting a puzzle together so be mindful of getting everything in the right spot.
Flowers, stems, and leaves are created with fusible applique. A placement diagram will help to put them together.
The finished quilt, designed by Flaurie & Finch for RJR Fabrics, is 53″ x 65″. Use it as a throw or display it on a large wall. Either way, it’s sure to be noticed and exclaimed over.
