| Have Fun With The Many “Looks” You Can Achieve With this Pattern!
This gorgeous quilt makes stunning use of reproduction and gingham fabrics. The pattern can take on many looks depending on the fabrics you choose and their placement.
The version shown here, by Becky Hicks, has the look of a flower garden bursting with blooms.
The pattern is by Mary Mashuta and can be found in her book “Cotton Candy Quilts”. Notice how Mary’s version has an entirely different look.
The pattern is called “Chuck Wagon Wheels”, or just “Wagon Wheels”, and is for a quilt that’s 50″ x 51″. It won’t be hard to make it larger or smaller by adjusting the number of flower blocks.
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!

Do you have simple quit patterns for beginner’s??
We have a lot of patterns for beginners. Sadly, they’re not organized all together and easy to find. Look through the “Free Quilt Patterns” and “Quilt Ideas” categories for patterns with simple block structures. If you want to start small, look through the “Table Toppers” and at baby quilts. Usually an article will say if it’s suitable for a beginner. Here are some ideas to get you started:

I think this quilt might be a Dresden Flower quilt by Blanche Young. The book is out of print but is available as an ebook from C & T.
