One block and a pieced border come together beautifully in a mix of mid-value prints against a light background. The subdued coloring gives the quilt an intriguing personality.
Select a pleasing combination of colors and fabric styles from your stash, or focus on a specific color combo. Either way your version of this compelling design is sure to be delightful.
While it looks complex, the overall design is created from one easy block. The key to making it work is to keep the colors all close in value against the light background.
The finished quilt, from designer Deanne Eisenman, is 74 1/2″ x 74 1/2″.
