Batiks Work Beautifully In This Pattern!

Softly mottled fabrics in vivid hues are stunning in this quilt. Flying geese blocks on a white background add movement to the overall design (or think of it as arrows pointing in every direction!).

If you look closely, you can see flying geese quilted into the background as well (optional but fun!).

Wandering Geese Quilt

Varying values of crayon colors make this a fun quilt. Play with colors in your version. Go bold like this, or choose a softer palette to match your decor. The piecing is straightforward and won’t take long to stitch up.

The finished quilt, by designer Joanne Kerton of Canuck Quilter Designs, is 57 1/5″ x 71 1/5″.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
