Go Vintage or Modern with This Stunning Quilt
Just Change the Fabrics to Change the Mood!
Two simple blocks combine to create a gorgeous quilt that makes us think of strolling along garden paths during warm weather. Of course, this quilt will be just as stunning in deeper colors, too.
Select a nice variety of colorful fabrics from your stash for the blocks. You can even use up leftovers in this project. Yardage will work, too. Stay with softer colors and small prints for a vintage look or bolder prints for a more modern feel.
If yellow isn’t your thing, choose a different color to predominate and tie the array of block colors together. We can also imagine this made up with vivid colors against a dark background, as well as in a two- or three-color combination. There’s so much you can do with this pattern!
The quilt is relatively easy to make, although it’s not necessarily a quick project. That’s OK, as you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful quilt when you’re done that you’ll enjoy for many years.
