Scrappy Patchwork Floor Pillows are Fun to Make |
It Won’t be Hard to Adjust the Size for Smaller Pillows!
Colorful patchwork pillows are wonderful for using up some of those scraps in your stash. Their large size makes them perfect for kids to lounge with on the floor. Small dogs and cats will also enjoy having their own pillows to snooze on.
Of course, you can alter the dimensions and create smaller pillows. We can easily imagine them in several colors lined up on a sofa or window seat.
The pillow covers are lined and have zippers so they can easily be removed from the pillow forms and washed.
Piecing the tops is a bit free form, so pull out your scraps and have fun with this project. You can’t go wrong once you’ve selected the colors you want to put together for each top.
The finished pillows, designed by Virginia Lindsay of Gingercake, are 24″ to 27″. Adapt the pattern to create pillows of the size you prefer.

PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest has featured many patterns from vendors participating in the Craftsy Marketplace, most of which have been deleted by Craftsy. It's going to take awhile for us to hunt down new sources for those patterns. In the meantime there are many links to patterns on our site that no longer work. We apologize if this article contains one or more of those links and appreciate your patience while we straighten things out. Thank you!
PLEASE NOTE: Quilting Digest does not sell or otherwise provide patterns directly. We showcase patterns and projects from various vendors, bloggers and other sources. Please make a note of where you access a pattern (the link in the yellow box toward the end of each Quilting Digest article). That way you can contact Support for that source if you have downloading problems or other issues. Thank you!
