An artful arrangement of Log Cabin blocks creates an eye-catching design. Plaids, ginghams, and florals contribute to the pillow’s charm.
Start with an appealing combination of fat eighths from your stash or from a coordinated bundle. You can also use 2 1/2″ jelly roll strips. Keep in mind that white quilting lines create the grid on the solid dark blue fabric around the edges of the example. However, you can quilt yours using whatever design you want.
The completed pillow, from Art Gallery Fabrics, is 28″ × 28″. You can also finish off the pillow top, with or without an added border, for a striking table or wall quilt.
