Make a Beautiful Quilt from Flannel
Choose Your Favorite Fabrics, Flannel or Not, to Make It Your Own!
Simple strip pieced blocks make a stunning quilt that’s especially cozy because it’s made of flannel. The beautiful flannel fabrics give it a refined and romantic personality.
Of course, you can use quilting cotton for your version, in whatever colors you like best. The quilt is easy to make and goes together quickly, so you may even want to make more than one.
There is not a complete printed pattern for this quilt, however, you’ll find instructions for making the “Spinning Rail Fence” quilt from Shabby Fabrics in the following video.
Click here to watch the video at YouTube if it doesn’t play on your device.
There’s an accompanying PDF project sheet (“free pattern”) with fabric requirements for a 59″ x 72″ quilt. Add or delete blocks to adjust the size.
The project sheet also lists the tools needed to complete the quilt. A particular ruler is specified although you should be able to achieve the same cuts with a bit more fussing from a large square ruler.
Would love to have this on my king size bed. Love it
